The Horton Early Learning Experience

Our preparatory kindergarten readiness curriculum has been created by our owner by blending collaborative leavening, discovery specials/life skills, NC standards and STEM into a comprehensive half day preschool program. Our teaching philosophy is that children learn best by ”doing”. Therefore, the activities that the children participate in are concrete, hands-on and encourage participation, but most of all FUN. We believe that learning is an overall exciting experience.

We value the cultural language of each child and family. 
We use both a STEM based curriculum and play-based curriculum. We use these methods as an opportunity for children to learn, create, use their imagination, exploration, and physical, cognitive, language, and social development.
